Book the Reef and Rainforest Fusion tour and settle in for the ultimate highlight reel ! Tracking out towards Green Island we’ll pass Cape Grafton, Mission Bay, False Cape and Mt Yarrabah.
Passing Green Island, we continue our journey to the north across Arlington Reef, one of the largest reefs in the Marine Park and on to stunning Vlasoff sand cay. Departing Vlasoff we’ll track over Upolu Cay and head west.
Crossing the coast you’ll have panoramic views over the northern beaches, Palm Cove and Double Island as we soar over the Great Dividing Range to the rainforest village of Kuranda and the amazing Barron falls cascading 850 feet down into the Barron Gorge below. After a final view of the impressive Stoney Creek Falls, we make our way back to the airport.

The Helicopter flys over the Kuranda rainforest and will show off the powerful features of Barron waterfalls. This flight is a perfect opportunity to to experience both Kuranda and the Great Barrier reef when you have limited time.
You will meet zoom helicopter at Zoom Helicopters, Building 21, Bush Pilots Avenue, Aeroglen, QLD 4870. This is at the Cairns Airport. They ask you to arrive at laest 30 minutes before the flight is due to take off.
We recommend giving as much time as possible to book in your flight to make sure it is available, however when we can we can book day of or day before if you give us a call.
Earlier in the day the winds tend to be softer, therefore it is recommended by the pilots that for the most comfortable journey you book in an earlier flight.
