It all started with a tiny house on wheels and a one-way flight to adventure. Bailey, a native Tasmanian, left his hometown in a tiny house he had built with a friend, embarking on an epic journey along Australia’s East Coast. Bailey travelled across the whole of Australia, landing in North Queensland with nothing but ambition, he found himself in love with the tropical paradise Cairns. At the same time, Co-Founder Kirk was living it up in Spain, in the Canary Islands! Bailey and Kirk's path yet had not crossed, but their love for travelling was true.
With bags packed and spirits high, Kirk and Bailey set their sights back on Cairns. Their collective experiences had shaped them into seasoned travel agents with a shared vision. They were determined to make a difference in the travel world, offering something beyond the standard agency model. They began by infusing the local scene with their signature boat parties, gradually establishing themselves as trusted, innovative travel advisors.
Fast forward a couple of years, and it was by chance that Bailey & Kirk went to Ibiza at the same time and found each other! They had became friends quickly and really valued each others life ethics and business mind! After time, they decided to start running their own events, running the biggest boat parties Ibiza had ever seen! Competing for sales against the likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris on the regular. Despite their success, the seasonal nature of Ibiza had them looking for more sustainable ventures.
The boys decided to open Travel Hub Australia, a genuine backpacker owned and operated travel agency, assisting in planning and booking trips of a life time around Australia and New Zealand!
Travel Hub stands as a testament to their journey, passion, and unwavering dedication. With 3 stores in the heart of Cairns, we’ve become a cornerstone of the travel community. Our ethos is simple: create unforgettable experiences without compromise. We collaborate with a wide range of tour operators and campervan rental companies, ensuring our travelers have the freedom to explore Australia in the most authentic way possible.

I’ve lived in Australia for the past 3 years, luckily I’ve travelled all around Australia multiple times , however I’ve spent the majority of my time in Cairns, sunny North Queensland baby!!!
