As a backpacker traveling around Australia, I’d plan to spend around 3-5 days in Sydney. It’s an awesome city with lots of history and amazing nightlife. But since there aren’t tons of excursions, I wouldn’t stay too long. You’ll want to make the most of your time and see all the cool stuff Australia has to offer! However, Sydney is great for work long-term.
