Reef Magic Pontoon offers direct Outer Reef access, multiple ways to experience the reef (snorkelling, diving, underwater observatory, semi submersible), a full day itinerary with included meals, and professional guides,  all making it an ideal reef adventure for beginners, families, and experienced snorkelers alike. Not only that but Reef Magic is the newest Pontoon on the water! 

Yes! The tour is suitable for all ages, with activities and facilities designed for families and children. The calm pontoon environment makes it safe and fun for kids. With a variety of activities to do on board, Reef Magic is welcoming to all ages. Even infants can have fun in the Children’s enclosed pool.,

The Outer Reef location features vibrant coral gardens, tropical reef fish, turtles, rays, and sometimes reef sharks. Marine life can be viewed while snorkelling, diving, or through the underwater observatory and semi submersible tours.

We recommend that you bring swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. A light jacket is recommended for the boat ride. Cash or card may be useful for optional extras like diving or helicopter flights.

Yes. Reef Magic does offer Hotel transfers in Cairns for an extra $30 per person. As well as pick up from Northern Beaches at around $40 extra per person.

Yes, Reef Magic Pontoon is ideal for first time reef visitors. The stable pontoon, calm entry points, helpful crew, and multiple none swimming options make it a stress free introduction to the Great Barrier Reef.

Reef Magic offers a range of optional extras to enhance your Outer Reef experience, including introductory and certified scuba diving, helmet diving (no swimming required), guided snorkel tours, snorkel safaris, and scenic helicopter flights. Additional extras may include underwater camera hire, professional photography, and return hotel transfers. Optional activities are subject to availability and can be pre booked or arranged on the day.

It’s best to book in advance, especially during school holidays and peak travel periods, as Reef Magic Pontoon is a popular Outer Reef tour and can sell out.

Yes, lycra suits or buoyancy vests are usually provided as part of the snorkelling equipment, offering sun protection and extra comfort while in the water. In addition the pontoon offers shaded seating areas, sun decks, and indoor spaces, so guests can relax comfortably between activities.
