Tick off a true bucket-list experience with a visit to Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls in Nitmiluk National Park, one of the Top End’s most breathtaking destinations. Departing Darwin in the morning, we travel south along the famous Stuart Highway, passing through the townships of Adelaide River and Pine Creek on the way to Katherine. Along the journey, take in the diverse flora and fauna of the Northern Territory while your guide shares fascinating cultural and historical commentary, setting the scene for the incredible landscapes ahead.
The highlight of the day is the NitNit Dreaming two-hour Katherine Gorge cruise, where towering sandstone cliffs rise 70 metres high and the ever-changing light transforms the colours of the gorge walls and rock formations. Along the way, hear the stories and traditions of the Jawoyn people, the traditional custodians of the land. Depending on the timing of the cruise, you’ll also visit the stunning Edith Falls (Leliyn), where you can cool off with a swim in its natural plunge pool or simply relax by the water (seasonal conditions permitting). After a day immersed in the beauty and culture of Nitmiluk, we return via Pine Creek and Adelaide River, arriving back in Darwin for the evening.

The Katherine Gorge & Edith Falls tour is an action packed day! It includes some adventurous bush walking, a beautiful river cruise, informative guide and hotel pick up and drop off from Darwin!
This is a full-day tour, the pick ups start from Darwin, therefore the tour lasts around 13 Hours. Starting around 6:30am and finishing around 8:00pm
Katherine Gorge is an extremely famous national park in Australia. It has 13 different places to visit, awesome swimming spots everywhere you look. The best thing to do in my opinion is a river cruise that takes along the Gorge, relaxing whilst looking at the beautiful rock formations and swimming holes. This tour includes the cruise!
Edith Falls is a wonderful waterfall located around 3 hours way from Darwin CBD. If you enjoy fresh water swimming, rock jumping and beautiful serenity, Edith Falls is one not too miss.
Katherine Gorge is around a 4 hour drive from Darwin, hence why it is a full day tour. However it is totally worth the drive to see the beautiful waterfalls and rock formations!
The best places to visit in the Northern Territory are Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield. We usually recommend spending around 5-7 days in the area to try and hit them all. Kakadu is the biggest and can take 3 or 4 days to see all the best spots
EXCELLENT Based on 422 reviews Posted on Anousack ThepphommaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wasn’t sure what to do in Cairns, so I visited their office. Eleanor at the counter was very helpful and gave me great advice on which tours suited me. I booked two tours—Kuranda went smoothly and I had an amazing time. The Fitzroy Island tour was cancelled due to technical issues, but Kirk (who seemed like a manager) called me, resolved everything quickly, and arranged a similar tour for me instead. Overall, I had a great experience and really enjoyed my time in Cairns. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by their office—you won’t regret it.Posted on Sven RudolphTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were fortunate enough to be advised by Bailey. He helped us choose the best day in terms of weather and calmly described and recommended various snorkelling tours to us. The tour we ended up booking was fantastic, as was the weather. For this reason, we were very happy with the advice and would definitely come back again.Posted on G EATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My family and I were visiting Cairns for a week only and wanted to have a memorable visit of the Great Barrier Reef. We were welcomed by Eleonore Fabre - she gave us outstanding service. She recommended the Moore Reef plan and we could not have had a better day. My kids (and I 🤭) loved the slide that led right into the ocean off the pontoon. Would highly recommend to stop by and see Éléonore at the Cairns branch!Posted on Mack BurgessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
