A Hot Air Balloon Cairns vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a hot air balloon scenic flight. Choose to get your morning off to a great start, with a spectacular balloon inflation display.
Rise up and float over the scenic Atherton tablelands with its rainforest fringed mountains and tranquil country landscapes. The balloon ride is classic flight. Watch out for local wildlife and afterwards there are balloon pack up games before boarding the coach for the return transfers approximately 9.30am. Then book in for a 3 course Lunch or Dinner at Lemoncellos on us (Travel Hub!)

The Cairns hot air balloon starts around 3.30AM in the morning of the tour. Definitely a tour for the early risers, but is 100% worth it for the views alone. In the morning time the wildlife is alot more active and you’ll have a fantastic view of the sunrise as it paints the the morning sky.
The Cairns hot air balloon flies over the lucious green space of Atherton Tableands,where you can spot many beautiful waterfalls and as well as rainforest areas. If you’re lucky you should see many different types of wildlife that frequent the area. Atherton Tableands is also home to many ancient forna that feels almost prehistoric so to have the view from above will be like stepping back in time.
The Cairns Hot air balloon experience total time including hotel transfer is around 4 hours finishing at approximately 9.45am. The Hot air ballon itself lasts up to 65 minutes which will give you plenty of time to take in the scenary as the day begins. When you book with us you also get given a voucher for a 3 course lunch or dinner at Lemoncellos, so this trip is worth a full day of adventure and luxury.
The Cairns hot air balloon can fit up to 24 people meaning if you wanna bring the whole family or friends there is plenty of space to do so whilst still having an intimate atmosphere. On an average day though the hot air balloon will usually see 12-20 people.

Wear casual outdoor clothing, long pants, and closed shoes, and bring a light jacket or jumper for warmth. It may be a bit chilly in the morning but once the sun is up it will get much warmer. A hat and sunglasses are useful once the sun comes up, and it’s a good idea to avoid wearing white clothing, as launch and landing sites can be dusty. Don’t forget to bring a fully charged phone or camera to capture the incredible views, along with a small bottle of water and your booking confirmation
Most people are surprised by how comfortable ballooning feels. There is no sensation of dropping or turbulence, and the movement is extremely gentle. Even guests who dislike heights often find ballooning relaxing rather than frightening.
