During your Frankland Islands day trip you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a guided snorkel tour and our popular adventure snorkel safari.
Take a ride on the Semi-Submarine, a great way to see the deeper and further coral from shore!
The guided island walk is also included in price, where you will learn about how islands in the reef form, Great Barrier History talks and also a guided walk through the shallow pools and coral beach.
These activities are all included in the full day tour price. All guests are also free to snorkel at their leisure throughout the day.
Our all-inclusive day tour includes all snorkel equipment, sun protection suits and optional flotation devices, morning and afternoon tea and lunch!

The Frankland island tour has many inclusions such as; Hotel pick ups and drop offs, all the equipment for snorkelling, both independant snorkelling and guided snorkeling, paddle boards and kayaking, tropical buffet lunch, glass bottom boat, guided island walk and a fast boat transfer to and from the island with the chance of spotting crocodiles along the way. Don’t worry though there are no crocodiles on the island or waters surrounding.
Absolutely! Frankland island is one of our favourite island experiences as its fully inclusive and has a maximum of 50 people including staff on the island per day in comparrison to a few hundred on the other islands, adding an element of elusivity to the island.
Due to the small groups allowed on the island per day the reef condition from Frankland island is second to none. The island itself is a natural habitat for turtles increasing the chances of seeing some awesome wild life. The guided snorkelling is amazing as the guides are very knowledgeable about the Great Barrier reef and will provide you with some great facts about the reef and the island.
Included in the price of your ticket comes a guided rainforest walk of Frankland island, this is an amazing opportunity to learn more about the island as the staff have a wide range of knowledge from the coral found at the island, the types of faurna on the island and the history of it as well.
Frankland island is an amazing family trip for young and old. The island itself is remote and quite giving the opportunity to catch some sun on the pristine beach as well as all the activities you can do in the water, paddle boarding, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and more! As well as this, apart of the guide Island walk is a childrens treasure hunt so bring the kids.
The trip to Frankland island is a full day trip. You will get picked up from your hotel around 7.30am and taken to a private boat to get to the island giving you around 4 to 5 hours, plenty of time for snorkelling, lunch, and relaxation. You will be back to your hotel for around 5pm.
We recommend bringing your swimming clothes, a towel and some open shoes for the island as well as some closed shoes for the island walk. We also recommend bring sunscreen and a hat as temperatures on the island can reach quite high. Lunch is included with the trip and dietary requirements are adhered to.
