The best time of year to go on an Auckland tour is December to April. This is considered peak season, as it generally has dry, sunny weather. However, June to August is also good if you are wanting to enjoy snow.
We recommend spending two to three days in Auckland, this will give you enough time to see the highlights of the city and have a night partying. If you want to go to Hobbiton then add an extra day.
