Arrive at Port Douglas Marina for check-in. Collect boarding passes and receive your day itinerary before departure at the Quicksilver counter.

After checking in, board the vessel 15min before departure and enjoy the complimentary morning tea/coffee on boarding.

Choose to sit in the air-conditioned cabins or on the outside decks as our Wavepiercer departs the Port Douglas Marina for the Outer Barrier Reef.

Arrive at Agincourt Reef Pontoon

Swim and snorkel from the platform. Underwater observatory open for coral and fish viewing. Semi-subs depart every 15 min. Fish feed presentation conducted in the snorkel area.

Lunch is served. Enjoy a hot and cold tropical buffet, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

Quicksilver has a variety of options included in the price – Semi Sub, Glass bottom Boat, Underwater Observatory, 10 minute helicopter flight, a sundeck, licenced bar, snorkelling gear, morning and afternnon tea and lunch. Also available but an extra cost, scuba diving, helmet diving and guided snorkels.

There are different helicopter packages to choose from, including 10 minutes, or a 25 minute flight (fly to pontoon, or fly back from pontoon) all prices vary so get in touch for pricing.

You can see an abundance of marine life from the sky! These include Turtles, Reef Sharks, Manta Rays, Giant Clams, Giant Travelly, vibrant coral and depending on time of year even WHALES! To be honest, there’s nothing you can’t see on the Great Barrier Reef tour & flight with Quicksilver.

Yes, the Great Barrier Reef tour & flight with Quicksilver is ideal for families. The huge floating platform gives the kids pace to run around, relax on sundecks with the family. Kids love the semi-sub and glass bottom boat, a great way to see the reef without getting in the water!

We recommend swim gear, towel, sunscreen, change of clothes, hat and sunglasses.

Pick up can be added to the booking, but is not complimentary, transfers from Cairns cost around $44 per adult, and from Port Douglas around $25 per adult.
