Spanning more than 20,000 square kilometres, Kakadu National Park is a land of immense natural beauty and cultural significance. Its landscapes shift from sweeping wetlands and ancient woodlands to dramatic escarpments and striking rock formations that have stood for millennia. With a third of Australia’s bird species and a fifth of its mammal species calling the park home, Kakadu is a living sanctuary where the wonders of nature can be experienced like nowhere else on Earth.
Your journey begins in tropical Darwin, travelling across lush floodplains into the heart of Kakadu. Along the way, choose to join an optional Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River or explore the wildlife-rich Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, cared for by the Limilngan-Wulna people. After a quick stop at Corroboree Park Tavern to pick up lunch and refreshments, we continue to the Bowali Visitor Centre to discover the deep Aboriginal culture and history of the region. The adventure then takes you to Cahills Crossing, one of the park’s best crocodile viewing spots (subject to weather and season), before visiting world-renowned rock art sites. Depending on accessibility, you’ll explore either Ubirr Rock with its sweeping views over the Arnhem Plateau or Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock), where ancient rock shelters display some of the most extraordinary Aboriginal art, alongside birdlife and unique species found only in this remarkable part of the world.

Kakadu is one of Australia’s biggest national parks. The sheer size of it makes it really difficult to explore it within a day. Kakadu is roughly 20,000 square kilometres, to put that into perspective thats the same size as 2.8 million full-sized soccer fields!
Yes, the Kakadu Wildlife & Wetlands is extremely worth it! Kakadu is one of the best places to visit in the whole of Australia. Kakadu is one of the largest national parks in Australia, so this is a great 1 day tour to try see as much as possible.
Yes the Kakadu Wildlife & Wetlands Tour is suitable for families. Minimum age to do tour is 6, however all guests on the tour must be okay with walking at least 2-3km.
Kakadu is one of Australia’s largest national park covering nearly 20,000 square kilometres. Even if you spend 1 full week exploring Kakadu, you would not be able to see everything. But a 1 day tour is a great way to get a glimpse of the National Park Kakadu, that is cost effective too!
Included in the Kakadu Wildlife & Wetlands tour is transfers, entry fee into the national park Kakadu, a guided tour of the beautiful world heritage site and much more!
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and a camera!
EXCELLENT Based on 422 reviews Posted on Anousack ThepphommaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wasn’t sure what to do in Cairns, so I visited their office. Eleanor at the counter was very helpful and gave me great advice on which tours suited me. I booked two tours—Kuranda went smoothly and I had an amazing time. The Fitzroy Island tour was cancelled due to technical issues, but Kirk (who seemed like a manager) called me, resolved everything quickly, and arranged a similar tour for me instead. Overall, I had a great experience and really enjoyed my time in Cairns. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by their office—you won’t regret it.Posted on Sven RudolphTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were fortunate enough to be advised by Bailey. He helped us choose the best day in terms of weather and calmly described and recommended various snorkelling tours to us. The tour we ended up booking was fantastic, as was the weather. For this reason, we were very happy with the advice and would definitely come back again.Posted on G EATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great Service, handsome ladPosted on Shannon El HanbliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My family and I were visiting Cairns for a week only and wanted to have a memorable visit of the Great Barrier Reef. We were welcomed by Eleonore Fabre - she gave us outstanding service. She recommended the Moore Reef plan and we could not have had a better day. My kids (and I 🤭) loved the slide that led right into the ocean off the pontoon. Would highly recommend to stop by and see Éléonore at the Cairns branch!Posted on Mack BurgessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
