What You Should Know About Jumping Crocodile Tour?

Join us for one of Darwin’s most iconic experiences – a half-day Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River. Leaving the city, we travel about 60 km southeast to the Marrakai wetlands, home to over 117 species of reptiles, 280 bird species, and of course, the region’s most famous resident – the saltwater crocodile. This thrilling adventure offers the chance to witness these apex predators in their natural environment, alongside other incredible wildlife such as barramundi, sea eagles, whistling kites, bull sharks, and flying foxes.

With only four operators licensed to conduct these tours, you’ll enjoy an experience led by seasoned locals who have a deep respect and understanding of crocodile behaviour and habitat. From the safety of a custom-built vessel, you’ll not only see the raw power and size of these creatures up close, but also gain valuable insight into their way of life. Educational, exhilarating, and truly unique, this cruise combines wildlife encounters with comfort and safety. At the end of the tour, you’ll return to Darwin with the afternoon free to relax and enjoy at your leisure.
