FAQs About Campervan Hire In Australia

Yes you can book campervan AND cars directly on our website, our campervan finder has live availability so you can receive your confirmation in under 5 minutes for your dream campervan!

So all the campervans listed on our campervan finder all have or have the option to add insurance, you can browse through the different options and find the right insurance for you.

Yes we have access to campervans all across New Zealand, we work with over 15 different campervan companies to ensure you get the best possible campervan for your trip.

You can actually do a mix of both. We recommend booking campsites if it’s a busy time of year for example Sydney area in December or January. Freedom camping is fine, more common in rural areas, but always remember to check the local signs and markings.

Every campervan is different, you can clearly see on our campervan finder tool all of the equipment included, most will come with gas cooker & stove, cutlery, bedding & pillows, and access to fridge.

You have to fill up the campervans fuel to the same level as what it was given to you, for example if it was half full when you picked it up, you’ll need to return it with the same amount.

Depending how dirty the campervan is after use, you are expected to clean the inside & outside of the camper to a good standard, similar to what is was when you picked it up, most common way is to take it to a manual car wash facility where you can pressure wash outside and clean/hoover any dirt and muck inside the van.

There are a select few that rent campervans to under 21’s in Australia. Those companies include Travellers Autobarn, Spaceships, Jucy, Camperman and Hippie. Travel Hub will compare each of these companies and get you the best price guarantee when booking.

Yes, you can do both. However New Zealand has strict freedom camping rules. The vehicle usually must be Self-Contained (has proper toilet). Most campsites in New Zealand won’t allow you to stay if your van is also not Self-Contained

There are a few helpful and cheap apps you can download on your phone. These include Campermate and Wikicamps, where you can see all campsites, and even filter the prices, locations, amenities and much more.
