Departing daily from Cairns, Silverswift is ready to whisk you away for a day of fun and adventure on the Great Barrier Reef, visiting not 1, not 2, but 3 far outer reef sites in one day! This is an active day all about being in the water for your dive or snorkel adventure of a lifetime!
You’ll explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures as you visit three different outer reef sites at Flynn, Pellowe, Milln and/or Thetford Reefs. Locations vary with the day’s conditions however each site is chosen for visual impact, ecological diversity and the challenge of discovery!

The Silverswift Outer reef experience departs at 8.30am and returns at 4.30pm, however they ask for you to check into the Reef Fleet terminal from 7.30am-8.30am so you can board the boat in time. You are then taken to 3 outer reef sites totalling around 5 hours in the Great Barrier reef for snorkelling and diving if you wish.
Silverswift is so popular because it takes you to 3 outer reef sight in the Flynn Reef, Milln Reef and Pellowe Reef. At some of these sights Silverswift have the exclusive right to be there so you will be the only people at those reef sights for the day! This makes the coral exquisite and the fish are plenty.
Absolutely! You can do either introductory or certified dives as an optional extra on Silverswift and still snorkel when you’re not under the water. Because Silverswift takes you to the outer reef, the diving experience is like no other as the further out on the reef you go the more vibrant and rare the coral and wildlife tends to be.
Of course! On board Silverswift there is a professional underwater camera that can take high quality pictures of you as you snorkel and/or Dive. These pictures are the perfect opportunity to show off to your friends and family about your experience under the water. After the picture is taken you can go and find the photographer on the boat and purchase your collection.
Yes. Aboard Silverswift in between your snorkelling and diving lunch is served as a hot and cold buffet style. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know and we can inform the staff on board to accommodate.
Silverswift focuses on multiple Outer Reef locations in one day, giving guests the chance to experience a variety of coral formations and marine environments rather than staying at a single site, all whilst being on a luxury boat.
The Silverswift catamaran features air conditioned lounges, sun decks, hot showers, changing rooms, equipment storage and spacious dive platforms, designed for comfort between reef stops.
