During June and July, you may also have the incredible opportunity to swim with migrating Dwarf Minke Whales.

The Mike Ball Coral Sea Safari is a luxury liveaboard diving and snorkelling expedition that explores some of the most remote and pristine sections of the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea over 8 days and 7 nights.
The usual reef sights you will exploring with Mike Ball Coral Sea Safari Liveaboard is; Ribbon Reefs, Osprey Reef, Bougainville Reef, and other outer Coral Sea locations like Bougainville Reef, and Holmes Reef, all known for dramatic drop offs, vibrant coral systems, and abundant marine life.
This safari is best suited to certified divers with some experience, as conditions can include deeper dives, currents, and blue-water environments typical of the Coral Sea.
We recommend that you bring certification cards, dive logbooks, personal dive gear (or pre-arranged rentals), reef safe sunscreen, casual clothing, swimwear, and a camera. Also your own personal hygiene towel and clothes for when you’re not in the water.
Guests have fantastic facilities and can enjoy the trip in luxury as they stay aboard the MV Spoilsport, featuring air conditioned cabins with private or shared ensuite bathrooms, comfortable communal areas, and onboard dining facilities.
Guests often encounter reef sharks, hammerheads, manta rays, giant potato cod, turtles, schools of pelagic fish, and vibrant hard and soft corals. Sightings vary with conditions but the Coral Sea is renowned for big-animal action.
