Kakadu Wildlife & Crocodile Cruise

Kakadu Wildlife & Crocodile Cruise

Covering more than 20,000 square kilometres of wetlands, ancient woodlands, dramatic escarpments, and some of the oldest rock formations on the planet, Kakadu is unlike anywhere else on Earth. It is home to a third of Australia’s bird species and a fifth of its mammals, making it one of the richest natural sanctuaries in the world. Nowhere else offers such an extraordinary opportunity to witness the raw beauty and wonder of nature in one breathtaking destination.

Join us on a one-day adventure as we explore the very best of Kakadu National Park. Travelling from Darwin across floodplains and into this remarkable landscape, we begin with an optional Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River or a visit to Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, a haven managed with the Limilngan-Wulna people and home to turtles, water pythons, birdlife, and iconic saltwater crocodiles. After a short stop at Corroboree Park Tavern to purchase lunch and snacks, we continue on to Bowali Visitor Centre to learn more about the region’s deep Aboriginal culture and heritage. The journey then takes us to Cahills Crossing, famed for its crocodile sightings, before moving on to Kakadu’s world-renowned rock art sites. Depending on the season, we may visit Ubirr Rock with its sweeping views of the Arnhem Plateau, or Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock), where intricate rock shelters showcase ancient art alongside rare wildlife found nowhere else on the planet.
