Bailey, a native Tasmanian, left his hometown in a tiny house he had built with a friend, embarking on the famous East Coast road trip until tropical paradise Cairns. At the same time, Kirk from Scotland was living it up in Spain, in the Canary Islands!
Bailey and Kirk’s path yet had not crossed, but their love for travelling was true.
A few years later, Bailey and Kirk happened to be in Ibiza at the same time and quickly became friends, bonding over shared values and business vision. They launched their own events and built some of the island’s biggest boat parties.
But the seasonal nature of Ibiza pushed them to seek more stable opportunities.
Hightly determinated, Kirk and Bailey returned to Cairns and used their travel experiences to launch Travel Hub Australia—a backpacker-owned travel agency focused on authentic adventures. They quickly became known for their innovative approach, growing to three stores and partnering with top tour and campervan companies.
Travel Hub is built on their story—friendship, ambition, and a love for adventure—values they now share with every traveller who walks through their doors.

I was lucky enough to travel all the way from Melbourne to Cairns, as well as explore a lot of the West Coast during my time in Australia. So if you need any recommendations, I’m your gal! I’ve pretty much tried every option when it comes to travelling in Australia, so I’ve got you covered with all the top tips for exploring this beautiful country!
I’m from a small city called Dunfermline, located in Fife, Scotland – bit too cold for my liking though!
