The levy for the Cairns River Tubing is a government tax to keep the river safe and clean. This must be paid directly to the bus driver on date of tour. This is not paid when booking the tour, hence why it charges you $15 less per person.
The minimum age for Cairns River Tubing is 5 years old. This is because it is a super relaxing, slow and easy paced day for even kids to follow and enjoy.
The Cairns tubing is very slow and safe, hence why the minimum age is 5. There are a few river rapids, however it’s still unextreme or fast paced. There are also guides to help if needed.

No, there are no crocs in the river. Cairns Adventure Group have chosen a specific river that is super shallow, with no crocodiles. They wouldn’t run the tour if it was unsafe.
