EXCELLENT Based on 422 reviews Posted on Anousack ThepphommaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wasn’t sure what to do in Cairns, so I visited their office. Eleanor at the counter was very helpful and gave me great advice on which tours suited me. I booked two tours—Kuranda went smoothly and I had an amazing time. The Fitzroy Island tour was cancelled due to technical issues, but Kirk (who seemed like a manager) called me, resolved everything quickly, and arranged a similar tour for me instead. Overall, I had a great experience and really enjoyed my time in Cairns. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by their office—you won’t regret it.Posted on Sven RudolphTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were fortunate enough to be advised by Bailey. He helped us choose the best day in terms of weather and calmly described and recommended various snorkelling tours to us. The tour we ended up booking was fantastic, as was the weather. For this reason, we were very happy with the advice and would definitely come back again.Posted on G EATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great Service, handsome ladPosted on Shannon El HanbliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My family and I were visiting Cairns for a week only and wanted to have a memorable visit of the Great Barrier Reef. We were welcomed by Eleonore Fabre - she gave us outstanding service. She recommended the Moore Reef plan and we could not have had a better day. My kids (and I 🤭) loved the slide that led right into the ocean off the pontoon. Would highly recommend to stop by and see Éléonore at the Cairns branch!Posted on Mack BurgessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When falling from 15,000 ft, the inital free fall builds speeds upwards of 200km per hour. That’s as afast as a high speed train! After the paracute is pulled the speed reduces massively and it you continue with a peaceful descent until you land on the ground.
On average the whole process of a skydive will take 3 hours. This includes the training time, driving to the plane, the ascent to 15,000 ft. The Sky dive it self which is a free fall at 200km/h for a minute and then a 15-20 minute descent to the ground again. You are then taken back to the skydive centre.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that aren’t loose as well as removing all jewelry and ensuring you are wearing closed toe shoes. At the skydive centre there are lockers for you to put your personal items such as phones wallet and anything else you wish to be stored safely until you return to land.
If you have a weak prescription it is recommended that you should take your glasses off to remove the risk of losing them during your skydive. However if you do chose to wear your glasses for your skydive, there are transparent eye covers that can be fitted around your head and glasses that will reduce the chance of them falling off. Most likely you will be asked by staff if you want this protection.
If it is an item on your bucket list to do a skydive then we highly recommend opting into recieving the pictures and videos of your skydive. This way you can replay your reaction of the fall over and over and prove to everyone you know that you are brave enough to do the skydive!
The minimum age for a tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 years old who is taking part in a skydive needs to have proof of permission from a parent or guardian.
No you are generally not allowed to sky dive 12-24 hours after your scuba diving for your own safety and will be denied to jump due to the pressure difference.
Generally the time of day doesn’t matter too much for a skydive. However a popular time to skydive is just before the sun rises, this time slot is often sold out days if not a week prior to the jump so if you want to enquire let us know as soon as possible!
