After school, I dropped out of college and got a full time corporate job, however it wasn’t what I wanted out of life. Since catching the travel bug after being in Australia for a year the first time, I’ve not been home longer than a few months at a time. I’m definitely a true traveller at heart and have no plans to stop!
From travelling and living in Australia and Ibiza, from working boring corporate jobs to running pub crawls and boat parties, I’ve been there and done it all. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled and done pretty much every tour in Australia, especially on the East Coast, so I know a thing or two and can recommend trips based on my actual experiences.
Australia has changed my life, and I have a genuine passion for helping others come out here and change their life too. I’ve made all the mistakes so you don’t have to!
Australia is special because it made me realise how much there is out there in the world and it’s also where I met Bailey, which was the start of all of this! When I first came over at 18 years old I hadn’t had much life experience, but after living the backpacker life I had to grow up fast – this is why Australia has a special place in my heart.
I love being able to wake up with the sun shining and everyone just being generally happier, as you have everything you need. If you want to go to the city, you have Sydney, Melbourne etc. or if you want to go to a remote waterfall in the middle of the rainforest, that’s possible too! It’s so diverse and the opportunities here are endless, no other place I’d rather live long-term.
My favourite spot has to be Fraser Island! It’s the largest sand Island in the world and an absolutely magical place. You get the real Aussie experience driving along the beach in a 4WD – with no one else on the island and no rules! So many spots to swim at and explore, then at night we get the campfire songs going, the beers out and watch the stars. The next morning you wake up and do it all again! Nothing compares to Fraser Island in my opinion, a must-see on the East Coast!
Put down your phone and live in the moment! You’re going to meet so many people
from all different places in the world, be open minded and go with the flow.
My funniest travel story has to be when me and Bailey lived together out of a tiny house back in 2018, in Cairns. We were younger (much more immature) and loved to prank each other… One night after a few beers, Bailey decided to go into the camp kitchen and slap me with raw sausages. This of course led to a full-blown food fight in the kitchen… immature I know, but definitely one for the memories!
